Abbeyfield Clinton has the appearance of an old Goldrush Hotel, offering seniors a comfortable and affordable place to live.
Abbeyfield houses are established in many countries, all have the atmosphere of a family home.
You would have the privacy, dignity and freedom needed, to continue leading a normal life, but you would also be in a more secure environment, with the company of others.
To maximize your flexibility, you are usually responsible for making your own breakfast, (ingredients are provided) however, lunch and dinner are prepared daily by the housemother.
If you enjoy cooking, gardening or other activities, you will have the opportunity to engage in them.
You may furnish your room with your own furnishings, but if you have little or no furniture, we will help you making your room comfortable.
We are looking forward to welcome you to a small group of 8 people, to enjoy life and activities. Sharing crafts, stories, music and learning or teaching new skills.
Access to cozy sitting areas, TV room, fitness area, computer office, hobby rooms, and a large woodworking shop.
A stair-lift is installed for people with difficulty negotiating stairs, and private panic buttons for emergencies.
B&B is available for overnight guests, $ 65.00 per couple, $ 55,00 single. The proceeds of the B&B rate is added to the Oasis funds, to create a park-like backyard for residents and visitors.
Convalescent and respite care available.
